Spartan Brew 8/8: Women's Soccer on TV

See which women's soccer games will be on television.

Good morning, Spartans! Since we still have three more weeks until football starts, we will watch amazing plays from the past for now.

What else do we have brewing today?

⚽️ Women on TV
🥎 Academic honors
💚 And much, much more

🔼 Big Screen. The women’s soccer team will be on television three times! The Spartans will be on the Big Ten Network on Sept. 4, Sept. 18 and Oct. 5. The other 15 games of the 2025 season will be live-streamed on BTN+.

All men's and women's soccer tickets must be scanned before entering DeMartin Soccer Stadium. For more information visit the Gameday Central pages below.

🔼 Smart Gals. The softball team had 12 players earn Easton/National Fastpitch All-America Scholar Athlete Honors for the 2024-25 academic year. More than collegiate players 9,000 across all membership categories/divisions met the award criteria.  NCAA Division I had 2,544 student-athletes earn the honor.

🔼 Super Spartan. We have 21 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!

Earl Morrall, who wore No. 21 for the Spartans from 1953-55, led Michigan State to a pair of Rose Bowl victories and closed his collegiate career as the program’s all-time leading passer with 2,015 yards.

💚 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Establishing A Rhythm. "We've established our rhythms, some of our culture, our expectations. The challenge is to now be able to build on that."

Hear from Coach Smith back during spring ball about the opportunities it presents!
