๐Ÿ”ผ Crown โ€˜Em. No. 5 Michigan State womenโ€™s soccer found all the offense necessary on Thursday, beating Queens 6-0 at DeMartin Stadium to move to 4-0-2 on the season.

Emily Mathews collected a hat trick for the Spartans, and was followed closely by Meg Hughes, who scored twice. Bella Najera also scored, opening things up in the 29th minute.

๐Ÿ”ผ Home For The Weekend. Michigan State volleyball opens up its home slate this weekend, hosting Western Kentucky, Marist and Loyola Chicago for the Kathy DeBoer Invitational presented by Auto-Owners Insurance.

The Spartans take on Western Kentucky today at 7 p.m., with matches against Marist tomorrow at 3 p.m. and Loyola Chicago Sunday at 1 p.m. to follow.

๐Ÿ”ผ Homestand Finale. Michigan State menโ€™s soccer finishes up its four-match homestand today with the Air Force Academy in town for a 7 p.m. contest.

The Falcons are 0-3 so far this season, with losses to No. 10 SMU, Army and Washington.

The Spartans host Vermont today at 1 p.m. at Ralph Young Field, before welcoming Ohio on Sunday. The Catamounts and Bobcats are both 0-2 so far this season.

๐Ÿ”ผ Spartans in Spain. Head coach Tom Izzo and Michigan State menโ€™s basketball spent 10 days in Spain this summer, splitting time between Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.

MSU played three games while abroad, and spent the rest of the time bonding and building camaraderie.
