🔼 Smell The Roses. The Tournament of Roses announced yesterday that former Michigan State head football coach Mark Dantonio has been named to the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Class of 2024!
Dantonio will be the third Spartan inducted in the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame, joining All-America running back Lorenzo White, who led MSU to a win in the 1988 Rose Bowl over USC, and Dave Kaiser, who kicked a game-winning 41-yard field goal in the final seconds of the 1956 Rose Bowl over UCLA.

🔼 Take The Crown. No. 5 Michigan State women’s soccer plays its fifth-straight home contest today, hosting Queens at 7 p.m. at DeMartin Stadium.
The Royals are 3-2 so far this season, with wins over South Carolina State, Western Carolina and last time out against Winthrop.
On Sunday, the Spartans will wrap up non-conference play with a matchup against Loyola Chicago at DeMartin.

🔼 Preseason Praise. A day after releasing its Top 25 in which Michigan State was ranked No. 13, the Golf Channel has released its preseason All-Americans, and the Spartans’ Katie Lu is an honorable mention member!
Lu was a WGCA Honorable Mention All-American and First-Team All-Big Ten member last season with a 71.54 scoring average in 39 rounds.
