🔼 Hear From Coach Barnett. Acting Michigan State head football coach Harlon Barnett held a press conference on Tuesday.

Barnett, the secondary coach for the Spartans, is entering his 15th season on the Michigan State coaching staff.

🔼 Road Triumph. Michigan State men’s soccer picked up a big 1-0 road win at No. 20 Notre Dame on Tuesday to remain unbeaten at 4-0-1 on the season.

Sean Kerrigan broke the scoreless tie for Michigan State in the 34th minute, and it held up as the match-winning goal.

🔼 Over In Overtime. Michigan State field hockey dropped a close 3-2 game to Stanford in overtime on Tuesday.

Two different Spartans scored in the contest — Lulu Fulton got the scoring started off a deflection, and Kim Smit broke a 1-1 tie with her buzzer-beating goal in the second quarter.

🔼 Strong Finish. Michigan State women’s golf shot 2-over par through three rounds at the Cougar Classic to finish in 11th place as a team.

Katie Lu led the Spartans with a 5-under par tournament, and placed 15th. Shannon Kennedy and Ella Weber also finished under par for Michigan State.
