🔼 Wolverine Win. Michigan State volleyball dominated Michigan on Saturday night inside the Breslin Center, sweeping the Wolverines to improve to 11-1 on the season.
The Spartans hit .316 for the match, their second-best single-match hitting percentage of the season, and held the Wolverines to a .143 clip. MSU led Michigan in total kills (44-to-34), service aces (5-3) and digs (36-32), while the Wolverines held a 6.5 to 2 advantage in total blocks.
🔼 The Bear Stays Home! Michigan State men’s soccer beat its second consecutive top-five team over the weekend, beating No. 5 Michigan, 2-1, to claim the Big Bear Trophy for another year.
With the win, Michigan State improves to 5-4 this season and 2-2 in Big Ten action. Michigan suffers its first loss of the season, falling to 5-1-2 overall and 2-1 in league play. The victory was also the Spartans first road win of the season.
🔼 All The Offense. Michigan State women’s soccer dominated No. 20 Wisconsin on Sunday, 6-0, to earn its sixth win of the season.
MSU scored three times in each half, and was able to liberally use its bench — no Spartan played more than 69 minutes. MSU limited its opponent to just seven shot attempts on the day, with just two reaching Noelle Henning. On the flip side, eight of MSU's 10 shots were on goal, and six of them found the back of the net as Wisconsin keeper Drew Stover made two saves.

🔼 Fast Finish. Behind Riley Hough’s eighth-place finish, the Michigan State men’s cross country team raced to 10th place at the Gans Creek Classic in Columbia, Mo., on Friday morning.
🔼 On The Road. Michigan State field hockey dropped a pair of road contests over the weekend — 2-0 to No. 20 Penn State on Friday and 4-0 at Bucknell on Sunday.
