🔼 Team To Beat. Michigan State women’s soccer plays its first game as the No. 1 team in the country today, traveling to Ohio State to play the No. 11 Buckeyes at 7 p.m.
Ohio State has lost just once so far this season, sitting at 7-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes’ lone loss came at No. 13 Auburn back on Sept. 8.
The Spartans will then be back at home on Sunday to face Rutgers, which is 7-1-1 overall on the year and tied atop the Big Ten standings with Michigan State at 3-0.
🔼 Almost Time. Michigan State hockey head coach Adam Nightingale held the Spartans’ annual media day on Wednesday, previewing his team’s upcoming Big Ten title defense during the 2024-25 season!
The Spartans begin their season with a two-game set at Lake Superior State on from Oct. 4-5.

🔼 B1G Honor. Michigan State men’s tennis’ Max Sheldon has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week!
Sheldon went 5-0 in singles action over the first four days of the ITA All-American Championships to qualify for the Main Draw, one of only five players who started out in pre-qualifying to advance on.
