🔼 Tamed The Tigers! Michigan State volleyball moved to 3-0 on Tuesday, sweeping LSU in Ann Arbor in its first match of Big Ten/SEC Challenge Week!
Outside hitter Karolina Staniszewska put up a team-best 14 kills and added four digs and a service ace. Outside hitter Alanna Bankston added seven kills and four digs, while middle blocker Zora Hardison put down six kills and led MSU in total blocks with five. Middle blocker Carmen Waye posted four kills and three total blocks and recorded a career-high and team-best three service aces.
The Spartans are back at it today, playing South Carolina at 4 p.m.
🔼 On The Podium. Michigan State men’s golf closed play at the New York Harbor Cup on Tuesday, finishing tied for third place at 6-under par!
McCoy Biagioli led the Spartans, finishing in eighth place at 5-under par.

🔼 Electric Spartan! We have 2 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, September 4 against Toledo!
Herb Haygood, who wore No. 2 for the Spartans from 1998-2001, caught 115 passes for 1,640 yards and seven touchdowns at Michigan State while also collecting 1,770 yards and two touchdowns on kick returns.
