🔼 GAME DAY! Michigan State football is BACK!
The Spartans take the field tonight at 7 p.m. for their season opener and first game under head coach Jonathan Smith against Florida Atlantic.
🔼 Connected And Committed. Fifth-year graduate senior and two-year letterwinner Sam Edwards is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honoree, and has been the football team’s Scholar-Athlete Award winner the past two years for maintaining the highest cumulative grade-point average on the team.
He has penned a letter to talk about his experience playing for the Green & White.

🔼 Winner, Winner. No. 4 Michigan State women’s soccer remained unbeaten on Thursday night, winning 1-0 over Ole Miss at DeMartin Stadium to move to 3-0-1 on the season!
The Spartans’ goal came from Emily Mathews in the 53rd minute, and held up as the winner.

Michigan State gets yet another early-season test on Sunday, hosting No. 15 Xavier at 1 p.m.
🔼 Mountain Time. Michigan State volleyball kicks off its season on the road this weekend, traveling to Colorado for a triple dip against Northern Colorado, Colorado State and No. 11 Florida.
The Spartans will play the Bears today at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the Rams tomorrow at 8 p.m. and the Gators Sunday at 5 p.m.
🔼 Go Time. Michigan State field hockey is in California this weekend to open up its season, playing at UC Davis today at 3 p.m. ET and at California on Sunday at 4 p.m.

🔼 Cats In Town. Michigan State men’s soccer continues its homestand today, hosting Villanova at 11 a.m. for Kick-Off the Day at the Pitch.
The Wildcats have an identical 0-1-1 record as the Spartans, falling 3-2 to Temple last time out.
