🔼 Stripe the Stadium. ICYMI: The first football preview of the season is in! Michigan State will take on Western Michigan tonight at 7:05 p.m. ET in a Stripe the Stadium game. Here’s everything you need to know about tonight’s battle.
🔼 Getting the W. Michigan State women’s soccer secured a win yesterday afternoon, taking down Buffalo, 2-1. The Spartans got both goals from Bella Najera en route to the victory! Don’t miss her game-winning score.
The Spartans will be back at it vs. Xavier in Cincinnati on Sunday, August 31 at 1:00 p.m.

🔼 A New Season. Michigan State field hockey starts its 2025 campaign this weekend on the road as the squad battles Louisville today at noon, then Ohio at 11 a.m. on Saturday. MSU is 9-7 all-time against the Cardinals, while the Spartans hold a 17-3 record against the Bobcats. More details here.
🔼 At Home. Michigan State volleyball will open a new season at home tomorrow evening. The Spartans will welcome Merrimack and Chicago State to the Breslin Center this weekend, battling the former on August 30 at 6 p.m. and the latter on August 31 at 2 p.m. The matches this weekend mark the first for MSU in the Kristen Kelsay era. 🔼 Going The Distance. Both the men’s and women’s cross country programs will kick off a new season today in Shepherd, Michigan. Both teams will run a 5k at the 40th annual Jeff Drenth Memorial, with the women running at 11 a.m. and the men following 35 minutes later.
The women open the season No. 17 in the USTFCCCA preseason coaches’ poll, while the men check in at No. 30.
