🔼 Top-10 Win! No. 5 Michigan State women’s soccer went on the road Sunday and earned a top-10 win, beating No. 7 North Carolina, 3-2, in front of 3,723 fans at Dorrance Field!
Charlotte native Kennedy Bell had two goals on the day, and Bella Najera added her first goal of the season on a free kick in the 63rd minute. Keeper Noelle Henning made three saves as MSU dealt UNC its first loss of the season (3-1) and improves to 3-0 on the year.
🔼 2-0! Michigan State men’s soccer won again on Sunday, beating Seattle, 2-1, at DeMartin Stadium to move to 2-0 on the season!
Miles Merritt opened the scoring with a penalty kick goal in the 26th minute, while Andrew Darakdjian scored the winner in the 61th minute.
🔼 Bednarik’s Best! Michigan State linebacker Jordan Hall has been named to the 2026 Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List, presented to the best defensive player in college football!

🔼 Utility Man! We have 11 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, September 4 against Toledo!
Connor Heyward, who wore No. 11 for the Spartans from 2017-21, rushed for 818 yards and five touchdowns through his first four seasons at Michigan State before making the switch to tight end during his final season, catching 35 passes for 326 yards in 2021.
