🔼 Win Column. Michigan State men’s soccer got its 2025 season off to a good start, beating UC Riverside, 2-0, to open the campaign in the win column.

The Spartans utilized a pair of own goals to seal the season-opening win.

🔼 Shutout Streak Continues. No. 20 Michigan State women’s soccer earned its first win of the season on Thursday, shutting out NC State in a 3-0 victory at DeMartin Stadium.

Michigan State has posted back-to-back shutouts, with the last goal allowed coming just 3:30 into the game at Colorado in the opener.  The shutout streak is now at 266:30.

🔼 Super Summer. The summertime accolades continue to come for Michigan State baseball’s Randy Seymour, who on Thursday was named to the New England Collegiate Baseball League First-Team All-League list!

🔼 Tossing The Pigskin. We have 7 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!

Brian Hoyer, who wore No. 7 for the Spartans from 2005-08, threw for 6,159 yards and 35 touchdowns at Michigan State, at the time only the third Spartan ever to reach the 6,000-yard mark.

🔼 Running Up Front. Michigan State runners Rachel Forsyth and Moses Osterink have been named Big Ten Cross Country Runners to Watch by the league!
