🔼 Hoops Hysteria. Michigan State men’s and women’s basketball will top off the 2025-26 season with Michigan State Madness on Friday, October 3 inside the Breslin Center!
Our season opener ends in a 1-1 draw. MSU surrendered a goal in the opening minutes, and the Buffaloes held off a smothering MSU offense in the second half. Kennedy Bell with her first goal as a Spartan!
MSU will be back in action on Sunday when it hosts Dayton at 7 pm.

🔼 Match One Done. Michigan State women’s soccer got its season underway on Thursday, traveling to Colorado and playing the Buffaloes to a 1-1 draw.
Kennedy Bell scored the lone goal for the Spartans, while Noelle Henning registered a pair of saves in net. Michigan State had 20 shots to Colorado’s nine, and had 14 corner kicks compared to Colorado’s two.

🔼 Tune Up. Michigan State men’s soccer plays its final exhibition match of the preseason this weekend, traveling to Chicago to take on UIC at 8 p.m. ET.
The Spartans opened the season with a 2-0 exhibition win against Butler on Aug. 10 at DeMartin Stadium. MSU had 24 of the 28 players on the roster see playing time against the Bulldogs.

🔼 Getting Better. Michigan State baseball's Randy Seymour has been named the recipient of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) Most Improved Player Award!

🔼 Spartan Quarterback. We have 14 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!
Brian Lewerke, who wore No. 14 for the Spartans from 2016-19, threw for 8,293 yards and 47 touchdowns at Michigan State, leading the Big Ten in both completions (260) and attempts (436) during his senior season in 2019.
