🔼 1-0! No. 7 Michigan State women’s soccer got off to a hot start in its season opener on Wednesday against Xavier, beating the Musketeers, 2-0, at DeMartin Stadium!

Kayla Briggs and Kennedy Bell each scored goals for the Spartans, who are back on the pitch next Wednesday, August 19 against Loyola.

Josiah Scott, who wore No. 22 for the Spartans from 2017-19, was a two-time All-Big Ten selection and totaled 25 pass break-ups and seven interceptions in 30 career games.
