🔼 Under Center. We’re getting closer — only 45 more days until Michigan State football is back on the field!

Former Michigan State quarterback Ed Smith scored 45 touchdowns in three seasons as the Spartan starter from 1976-78 — 43 through the air and two on the ground!

Michigan State improved in each season with Smith at quarterback, winning four games in 1976, seven in 1977 and eight in 1978, finishing 12th in the final AP Poll that season.

🔼 Book Smarts. Eighteen members of the Michigan State track and field program were recognized with All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday!
