🔼 Sign ‘Em Up. Michigan State women’s tennis head coach Kim Bruno has announced the signing of Nina Plihal to the 2025 class!

Plihal is a native of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria, and is currently the No. 6 ranked player in Austria. She has won over 30 tournaments in Austria, including eight singles and three doubles national championships in her home country.

John Pingel did it all wearing No. 37 for Michigan State football from 1936-38, playing halfback, quarterback and taking on punting duties for the Spartans. During Pingel’s 1938 All-American season, he rushed for 556 yards, passed for 571 yards and averaged 41.8 yards per punt.
