🔼 Set Up For Success. Michigan State volleyball has been announced as a recipient of the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award!
The award is given annually to collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. During the 2024-25 academic year, the Spartans posted a 3.34 cumulative team GPA, while 10 student-athletes registered at least a 3.50 individually.

🔼 Serving It Up. Michigan State women's tennis has earned 2024-25 Division I ITA Academic Team accolades, while seven MSU student-athletes also captured ITA Scholar-Athlete honors!

🔼 Next Up. We have 38 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!
Former Spartan All-American defensive lineman Robaire Smith had 38 tackles for loss in his career at Michigan State from 1997-99, which ranks eighth most in school history. Smith was named a first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Foundation in 1998, and as a senior in 1999 he helped MSU to a 10-2 record and a No. 7 final ranking. Smith was drafted in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Titans and played 11 years in the NFL.
