⚾️ MLB Draft
🏀 World stage
💚 And much, much more

🔼 Drafted! Michigan State baseball’s Joseph Dzierwa was selected in the second round of the MLB Draft on Sunday night by the Baltimore Orioles!

Dzierwa is the highest drafted Spartan pitcher since Mark Mulder was drafted as the No. 2 pick of the first round in the 1998 MLB Draft. Dzierwa is the second MSU player selected in the second round in the last three MLB Drafts, as shortstop Mitch Jebb was selected in the second round and the 41st overall pick in the 2023 Draft.

🔼 Going Global. Michigan State men’s basketball’s Szymon Zapala is up for consideration for the Polish Senior Men’s National Team!

🔼 Spartan Legend. We have 46 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!

The No. 46 is retired by the Spartans in honor of former Michigan State President John Hannah, who served in the role for 46 years and championed Michigan State’s acceptance into the Big Ten in 1949!

💚 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Smile, You’re On Camera. From the first whistle to the final hurdle, these are the images of Michigan State Athletics from 2024-25!
