๐Ÿ”ผ One More Day. Michigan State decathlete Ryan Talbot sits in 19th place after one day and five events at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Talbot was fourth overall in the 400m with a time of 48.00 and eighth in the 100m with a time of 10.79. He finished 14th in the shot put, 21st in the high jump, and 24th in the long jump to round out his Day 1 performance.

Tomorrow consists of the 110m hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw and 1500m run.

๐Ÿ”ผ Season To Remember. Former Michigan State wide receiver Devin Thomas caught 85 passes in his Spartan career.

Who remembers how outstanding Thomas was during the 2007 season? The Michigan native caught 79 passes for 1,260 yards and eight touchdowns, and was selected in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft by Washington!

๐Ÿ”ผ Add To The Honors. Ozan Baris is just as impressive off the court as he is on it โ€” after earning All-American honors at the NCAA Singles Championships this season, Baris was named a First Team Academic All-American on Wednesday!

Graydon Lair and Max Sheldon were also honored, earning Academic All-District recognition.

๐Ÿ”ผ Academic Accolades. Five members of the Michigan State baseball team have been named Academic All-District, as selected by College Sports Communicators โ€” congratulations to Harrison Cook, Joseph Dzierwa, Dillon Kark, Nick Powers and Christian Williams!
