๐Ÿ“ˆ STOCK UP

๐Ÿ”ผ Run, Jump & Throw. Michigan State decathlete Ryan Talbot is set to begin competition today at his third consecutive NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships!

Talbot won the Big Ten Championships with a score of 7535, with top-five finishes in nine of ten events. He brings a PR of 8064 to the NCAA Championships, one of only 11 athletes in the field to post a score of 8000 or higher.

๐Ÿ”ผ Two-Way Titan. There are 86 days now until Michigan State football once again takes the field, and 86 makes us think of one legendary Spartan immediately โ€” All-American Allen Brenner!

Brenner was one of college footballโ€™s most talented two-way players in the 1960s, playing wide receiver and safety for the Spartans.

He was one of two sophomore starters on Michigan Stateโ€™s 1966 national championship team, and would go on to earn First Team All-America honors in 1968.

Michigan State Athletics told the story of Brennerโ€™s career beautifully when he passed away in 2012 at the age of 64 โ€” you can read that article here.
