🔼 Indy’s Finest. Xavier Booker is going to make so many big plays for Michigan State men’s basketball this season — let his freshman highlight reel serve as proof!
🔼 Smell The Roses. With 87 days left until Michigan State football’s season opener versus Florida Atlantic, it gives us the perfect excuse to reminisce on the Spartans’ 1987 season!
Michigan State went 9-2-1 overall in the ‘87 season including a 7-0-1 mark in Big Ten play to earn a berth in the Rose Bowl, where the Spartans beat USC, 20-17.
And do you remember this? Michigan State also opened the season against the Trojans in East Lansing, winning that matchup 27-13!
🔼 Cali Dreaming. Michigan State women’s basketball will have a destination Thanksgiving this year!
The Spartans will play in the Acrisure Classic during Thanksgiving week in Palm Springs, Calif., with a matchup against California set for Tuesday, Nov. 26 and a game against either Vanderbilt or Arizona on Wednesday.
🔼 Major Accomplishment. Michigan State golfer Ashton McCulloch is headed to the U.S. Open!
McCulloch shot 8-under over 36 holes at Cherry Hill Club in Ridgeway, Ontario on Monday, and was one of seven golfers in the tournament to punch his ticket to Pinehurst No. 2, the site of this year’s U.S. Open.

🔼 On The Ballot. Legendary Michigan State offensive lineman Flozell Adams has earned a spot on the ballot for the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame!
Adams was a First Team All-American and Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1997 and was a three-time All-Big Ten performer.
On top of Adams’ name appearing on the ballot, former Michigan State football coaches Darryl Rogers and Nick Saban both received nods as well.
