🔼 National Champs. We’re getting closer — only 65 more days until Michigan State football is back on the field!

The Spartans put together one of the best seasons in school history in 1965, putting together a perfect 10-0 regular season record before dropping a heartbreaking 14-12 game against UCLA in the 1966 Rose Bowl.

After the season was over, Michigan State was named the national champion by the Football Writers Association of America, the National Football Foundation and the United Press International!

🔼 Making An Impact. “My role on this team is really just to be a positive influence on guys. You know, I’m not gonna play, but that doesn’t mean I can’t contribute in some way, shape or form.”
