What else do we have brewing today?

🏀 Dreams to reality
⚾️ Kudos to you
💚 And much, much more

🔼 Hoops Dream. Here’s the moment Jase Richardson’s NBA dream turned into a reality!

🔼 Your Honor. D1Baseball is the latest publication to honor Michigan State pitcher Joseph Dzierwa, naming the Spartan lefty to its Third Team All-America list on Thursday!

🔼 Teeing Off. A trio of Spartans teed it up in the first round of the Rocket Classic at Detroit Golf Club on Thursday — Ryan Brehm shot 1-under, James Piot sits at 2-under and Ashton McCullough, playing as an amateur, shot 6-over on Day 1.

🔼 Going Global. A pair of Michigan State rowers are set to represent their countries in international competition this summer — Sabrina Gottschalk will attend the USA Rowing World University Games, while Ugne Rudaityte will compete at the U23 World Championships for Lithuania.

🔼 Spartan Sprinter. We have 63 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!

Michigan State halfback Sherman Lewis was an All-American in 1963, rushing for 577 yards on 90 attempts and scoring nine total touchdowns. Lewis finished third in Heisman Trophy voting in 1963.

💚 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Pursuit To Greatness. Every day, Joseph Dzierwa tries to get better as he continues his pursuit to greatness.

Despite being one of the top pitchers in college baseball, he is excited by how much he still has to learn.
