🔼 Spartan Stalwart. We have 70 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!
Luke Newman (No. 70) was the first NFL Draft pick in the Jonathan Smith era at Michigan State. Newman started all 12 games at left guard last season for the Green and White and was selected in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.

Despite being one of the top pitchers in college baseball, he is excited by how much he still has to learn.
