🔼 Stickin’ Around. Michigan State has announced that head hockey coach Adam Nightingale has signed a multi-year contract extension!
Entering his fourth season at the helm in 2025-26, Nightingale has guided Michigan State hockey to back-to-back Big Ten regular season and conference tournament titles and a 69-35-9 overall record.

🔼 Crossed The Finish Line. Michigan State track and field’s Kate Stewart-Barnett and Rachel Forsyth closed out the NCAA Outdoor Championships in style over the weekend, both earning All-American nods in their respective races.
Stewart-Barnett finished sixth in the 3,000m steeplechase in a program-record time of 8:58.15. Forsyth finished 18th in the 5,000m, the first Spartan All-American in the event since 2021.
🔼 Keep ‘Em Coming. Michigan State baseball’s Joseph Dzierwa earned yet another honor over the weekend, with the American Baseball Coaches Association naming the lefty a Third-Team All-American!
🔼 In The Trenches. We have 74 days until Michigan State football is back on the field for its season opener on Friday, August 29 against Western Michigan!
Gavin Broscious, who started two games last season along the Spartan offensive line before suffering a season-ending injury, will sport No. 74 this season after wearing No. 68 last year. Broscious made the first start of his career at right guard at Maryland, registering 43 snaps and grading out at 75.6 in run blocking against the Terps.
