🔼 Preseason Praise! Michigan State linebacker Jordan Hall has been named to Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Big Ten First Team!

Five additional Spartans earned second-team preseason honors from Phil Steele: junior punter Rhys Dakin, redshirt senior center Trent Fraley, redshirt senior offensive lineman Conner Moore, redshirt senior offensive lineman Ben Murawski and redshirt junior kick returner Kenneth Williams.

🔼 Status Secured! Michigan State track and field secured three All-American nods on Day 1 at the NCAA Championships at historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon!

Xavier Griffiths earned Honorable Mention status in the men’s hammer throw, Dillon Morlock earned Second Team All-American honors with a 10th place finish in the men’s shot put and Colby Morlock earned Honorable Mention honors in the event.

On Day 2, Kate Stewart-Barnett qualified for the finals of the 3000m steeplechase by finishing third in the first heat with a time of 9:44.76.
