🔼 Work To Do. Michigan State women’s golf finds itself in a tie for sixth place after the opening round of its NCAA Regional at Forest Akers West, shooting 3-over as a team.

The Spartans sit just one shot back of the ever-important fifth spot, with the top-five teams in the Regional advancing to the NCAA Championships.

Katie Lu and Brooke Biermann paced Michigan State, both shooting even-par to sit in a tie for 19th heading into Day 2.

🔼 Doubling Up. For the second time this season, Liv Grey is the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week after pitching to a 0.46 ERA over 15.1 innings and earning a pair of wins last week!

Grey is just the third Spartan pitcher to ever earn two Big Ten weekly honors in the same year, and the first to do so since Jessica Beech in 2003.

🔼 Right At Home. How about a round of applause for Hannah Hawley in her first season as a Michigan State Spartan?

After transferring from South Carolina, Hawley hit .349, got on base at a .462 clip, slugged .664 and hit 12 home runs!

🔼 Bowling For A Win. Michigan State baseball plays its penultimate midweek home game of the season today, hosting Bowling Green at 6:05 p.m. at McLane Stadium.

The Falcons are 26-17 on the season and have really turned it on since opening up conference play, sitting at 19-5 in MAC action.

🔼 All The Awards. The Big Ten will be sending a pair of awards to the Michigan State baseball dugout this week — Jack Frank has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week, and Ryan McKay is the Big Ten Freshman of the Week!
