🔼 Spartan Legend. We have 95 days left until Michigan State football takes the field against Florida Atlantic, and 95 makes us think of one man — Bubba Smith!

Smith is a legend at Michigan State, having earned All-American honors in 1965 and 1966. He was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1988, and in 2006, that No. 95 jersey we associate him with was retired by Michigan State!

🔼 The Honor Is Yours. After leading Michigan State women’s golf to its third NCAA Championship appearance in the last four years, Katie Lu has been named an honorable mention All-American by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association!

🔼 A Lesson In Perseverance. “It was pretty tough on the team, but we rallied around each other. We played for each other and played for him. He’s a warrior.”

Throughout his health journey, Michigan State baseball assistant coach Mark Van Ameyde has been an inspiration to the team. On March 20, he underwent successful kidney transplant surgery and is slowly rejoining the program.
