🔼 And Then There Were Four! Another day, another straight-set victory for Ozan Baris at the NCAA Singles Championships!

The latest, over Jack Anthrop of Ohio State, sends Baris to the NCAA Semifinals tomorrow against Alabama’s Filip Planinsek, who is seeded No. 29 in the tournament!

🔼 Let’s Race. Michigan State track and field is through two days at the NCAA East Preliminaries, with the men competing on Wednesday and the women yesterday!

Wednesday was highlighted by Heath Baldwin qualifying for the finals in the 110 hurdles, placing second in his heat and 12th overall. If he finishes 12th or better in the finals today, he will qualify for the NCAA Championships in June.

Five Michigan State women advances to Regional finals on Thursday, highlighted by Lauren Freeland in the 1500 meters.

🔼 A Lifetime Of Work Awarded. Michigan State volleyball and women’s basketball alumna Kathy DeBoer (‘78) earned quite the award this Wednesday — USA Volleyball honored DeBoer with the Harold T. Friermood “Frier” Lifetime Achievement Award at the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame banquet!

The Frier Award is considered USA Volleyball’s highest honor and recognizes significant contributions to the sport of volleyball.
