🔼 Off To The Races. Spartan women’s golf will tee it up at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., for the start of the NCAA Championships today. Michigan State will be amongst a field of 30 teams qualifying for the next round that includes just 15 spots.
Katie Lu will look to lead the Spartans as the low scorer on the team, averaging 71.2 strokes per round.
⛳️ PREVIEW: Spartans Ready For NCAA Championship
🔼 Mound Showdown. Michigan State baseball pushed one of the top teams and top pitchers in the conference to the brink but came up short in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Nebraska in the first game of the final Big Ten Conference series.
Greg Ziegler finished with the sole RBI after a sac fly knocked in Jack Frank in the first inning, but the Spartans were unable to plate any more runs despite the team’s seven hits.

🔼 Keep Them Coming. Michigan State track and field is sending 18 of its student-athletes to the next round of competition at the NCAA East First Round Regional. Included in the group is Lauren Freeland who is coming off a title-winning 1500m performance in the Big Ten Championships.
🔼 The Power of Perspective. Powers will graduate with a degree in advertising in the fall, and he knows that his days as the "athlete" part of student-athlete and playing baseball are numbered. However, his perspective gained through playing the sport he loves has allowed him to be at peace as more and more "lasts" take place.
