🔼 Road Work Ahead. Through nearly two rounds at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional, the Spartans are in 10th place at 2-over par in the field of 13 teams. Due to inclement weather expected in the area this week, the teams began the second round on Monday afternoon and seven of the 25 groups completed the second round.  Play will continue on Tuesday.

🔼 Closing Time. Michigan State baseball will open its final four-game homestand and the final week of the regular-season by hosting in-state foe Eastern Michigan today at 6:05 p.m. The Spartans will face the fifth MAC team of the season and are currently 3-2 against teams from the conference.

🔼 Field Of Dreams. Baseball players often dream of their chance to play in the big leagues. For Michigan State freshman pitcher Garrett Brewer, there are additional dreams for big things in the future. His sights aren't centered on his future on just the baseball diamond, but rather, the fields for farming

🗣️ "One of my buddies, he's a farmer, and I plan to take over the family hay business and then kind of branch off his business to help him out. He does apples, peaches, and then a couple of other small things, but he does much of that." - Garrett Brewer

Both Friday and Saturday’s games will be nationally televised on the Big Ten Network.

Saturday is also MSU's Senior Day as the Spartans will honor their senior players and managers in a pre-game ceremony. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to join in the celebration.

🔼 Rowing Strong. This week, Spartan rowing will head to the Big Ten Championships at Devil’s Lake in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The team will look to improve on last season’s eighth-place finish in the tournament.
