🔼 Lefty Ace. Michigan State pitcher Joseph Dzierwa has been named a semifinalist for the 2025 Dick Howser Trophy, given annually to the top player in college baseball!
This is the 38th year of the Dick Howser Trophy and the 2025 finalists will be announced on Thursday, June 7.

🔼 Right Back At It. Michigan State baseball fell in the first game of its three-game series with Minnesota on Thursday, 4-3, at Jeff Ishbia Field at McLane Stadium.
Ryan McKay provided much of the offense for the Spartans with a solo home run and a double.
Michigan State and Minnesota are right back at it today, with first pitch scheduled for 6 p.m.
Spartan Baseball to host Canned Food Drive on 517 Day!

Join us at McLane Stadium on May 17 for a 1:02 PM first pitch. In partnership with Southside Community Kitchen, we invite fans to donate non-expired canned goods, with a special need for canned fruit, pudding, and single-ingredient canned items.

🔼 Cali Dreaming. Michigan State women’s golf has reached the final tournament of its season, teeing off today in the first round of the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

🔼 Regional Acclaim. Michigan State softball’s Kaelin Cash was named Second Team All-Great Lakes region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association on Thursday, becoming the third Spartan to earn All-Region honors in the last two years joining Hannah Hawley (2024) and Britain Beshears (2024).

🔼 B1G Race Day. The postseason has arrived for Michigan State track and field, which is in Eugene, Ore., this weekend for the Big Ten Championships at historic Hayward Field.

🔼 On The Water. Michigan State rowing is in Indianapolis this weekend, competing at the Big Ten Championships at the Indianapolis Rowing Center.
