📈 STOCK UP

🔼 New Heights. No. 16 Michigan State men’s tennis is officially doing things never before done by the program, picking up wins No. 19 and No. 20 over the weekend against Purdue and No. 62 Indiana, the highest single-season win total in program history.

The historic season also includes a 6-0 mark so far in Big Ten play, the best start to conference action since 1967.

🔼 Fast Times. Michigan State track and field took full advantage of its one home meet this season, winning 15 events while celebrating the senior class of student-athletes.

The Spartans won nine of the final 10 events to end the day!

🔼 Made History. No. 10 Michigan State gymnastics wrapped up its season at the NCAA Gainesville Regional on Sunday, finishing fourth with a score of 196.650.

The Spartans finished their season at 29-7, the most wins the program has ever collected in a single season.

🔼 Series Dub. Michigan State baseball picked up its third home series win of the season over the weekend, taking two-of-three games against Niagara at McLane Stadium.

The Spartans took Games 1 and 2 to take any drama out of the series, before falling 8-6 in Sunday’s finale.

🔼 Bounce Back Better. Michigan State softball suffered a difficult weekend at home, losing three games against Indiana.

The Spartans struggled at the plate, scoring eight runs over the three-game series.

A chance for a quick bounce-back is there, though — Michigan State hosts rival Michigan tomorrow at 6 p.m. at Secchia Stadium.

🔼 Downed At Home. Michigan State women’s tennis fell at home versus No. 2 Michigan over the weekend, 6-1.

The Spartans’ one win was a big one, though — freshman Ria Bhakta picked up an upset victory over No. 19-ranked Julia Fliegner in the No. 3 singles matchup.

🔼 Runners-Up. Michigan State men’s golf put together yet another impressive scorecard this weekend, tying for second place at the Hoosier Collegiate at the Pfau Course in Bloomington, Ind.

Four Spartans finished among the top-20 overall — Ashton McCulloch (t-8th), August Meekhof (12th), Drew Hackett (t-19th) and Bradley Smithson (t-19th).
