🔼 Hobey Hopeful. Michigan State forward Isaac Howard has been named one of the three Division I hockey players to advance into the "Hat Trick" (three finalists) for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award, as announced on Thursday afternoon by the Hobey Baker Foundation!

🔼 Round of Applause. No. 8 seed Michigan State gymnastics recorded its best-ever finish at an NCAA Regional semifinal on Thursday, scoring a 197.625 to finish first ahead of No. 9 Kentucky, Ohio State and Penn State to advance to its fourth-straight NCAA Regional final.
The NCAA University Park Regional Final is set for 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 on ESPN+.

🔼 Twice As Nice. Michigan State softball plays another doubleheader today, traveling to Toledo (8-22) for a double-dip starting at 1 p.m. Today’s games were meant to be played at Secchia Stadium, but were moved due to weather.
The Spartans have already swept one doubleheader this week, Tuesday against Detroit Mercy.

🔼 Hoosier Hype. Michigan State baseball hits the road this weekend, traveling to Indiana for a three-game series at Indiana. Due to ongoing weather in the Bloomington area, there will be NO Michigan State vs. Indiana game on Friday, April 4. The MSU-IU series is tentatively set for Saturday-Monday, with times and more info to be provided on Friday.
The Hoosiers are 15-14 overall this season and 6-6 in Big Ten play, sweeping Ohio State and dropping two-of-three to Penn State and UCLA so far.

🔼 B1G Matches. Michigan State men’s tennis has a second straight weekend at home upcoming, hosting Northwestern and Illinois on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
The Illini (5-2) sit a half-game behind the Spartans (6-2) in the Big Ten standings, while the Wildcats are 3-4 in conference play.

🔼 Road Courts. Michigan State women’s tennis leaves East Lansing this weekend, traveling to the state of Indiana for a pair of matches — the Spartans are in West Lafayette tomorrow for a matchup at No. 53 Purdue before heading to Bloomington on Sunday for a match with Indiana.
