🔼 Exhibition Win. Michigan State baseball played in the Crosstown Showdown against the Lansing Lugnuts on Tuesday, picking up a 1-0 win over the High-A affiliate of the Athletics.

Hits were at a premium in the contest with Lugnuts pitchers throwing for both teams. Caleb Berry drove in the lone run of the game for the Spartans.

🔼 Double The Fun. Michigan State softball picked up a pair of wins on Tuesday against Detroit Mercy, both of very different varieties — the Spartans won Game 1, 2-1, before a 20-0 win in Game 2.

Sydney Doloszycki hit the game-winning home run in the fourth inning of Game 1, while the trio of Jacey Schuler, Ava Mullen and Madison Taylor allowed just one hit combined in Game 2.
