🔼 Mr. Hobey Baker. Michigan State hockey forward Isaac Howard has been named the 2025 recipient of the Hobey Baker Memorial Award!
Howard joins Kip Miller (1990) and Ryan Miller (2001) as the three Spartan Hobey Baker Memorial Award winners. He is the the 18th Hobey Baker Memorial Award Top 10 selection from the program and first since Taro Hirose in 2019. Both Millers were two-time top 10 finalists.

🔼 Tamed The ‘Cats. Michigan State baseball won its second Big Ten series of the season over the weekend, taking two-of-three games at home against Northwestern.
The Spartans fell in Game 1 of the series, 11-10 in 11 innings, before winning Game 2 by a 10-0 final score in eight innings and 3-1 in Sunday. Nolan Higgins and Garrett Brewer combined to allow just six hits in Sunday’s rubber match.

🔼 LA Sunshine. No. 28 Michigan State men’s tennis split a pair of matches out in Los Angeles over the weekend, winning 4-3 against No. 26 USC on Friday before falling to No. 32 UCLA on Sunday, 4-1.
Ozan Baris, Max Sheldon, Matthew Forbes and Mitchell Sheldon all won singles matches against the Trojans.

🔼 Quack Attack. Michigan State women’s tennis earned its fifth Big Ten victory of the season on Sunday, winning 4-3 against Oregon in East Lansing.
Liisa Vehvilainen, Amara Brahmbhatt, Hanna Tsitavets and Oriana Parkins-Godwin won singles matches.

🔼 Lookin’ At The Leaderboard. Michigan State women’s golf finished second as a team at the Buckeye Invitational on Sunday, shooting 3-under during the tournament’s final round to leap up one spot on the leaderboard.
Brooke Biermann led the way for the Spartans, finishing third at 2-under.

🔼 Teed It Up. Michigan State men’s golf finished up play at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate on Sunday, shooting 2-over in the tournament’s final round to place fourth overall at 14-over.
Lorenzo Pinili was the top finisher for the Spartans, tying for 10th place at 1-over.

🔼 Away From Home. Michigan State softball was on the road this weekend at Illinois, where it dropped two-of-three games to the Illini.
The Spartans won Game 2 of the series, 7-5, thanks in large part to two home runs off the bat of Sydney Doloszycki.
💚 ONE BIG THING
🔼 Not Done Yet. Michigan State gymnastics used a 198.000 to finish second at the NCAA University Park Regional Final and advance to the program's second-ever NCAA Championships.
