🔼 Big Ten Champs. No. 6 Michigan State hockey allowed for very little drama at Wisconsin over the weekend, winning 5-2 on Friday night to secure its first-ever Big Ten title!

Jeremy Davidson scored twice for the Spartans, Reed Lebster scored once and dished out two assists, and Trey Augustine registered 44 saves.

🔼 Put A Bow On It. Michigan State women’s basketball wrapped up its regular season on Sunday, winning 78-52 at Wisconsin to finish 22-7 overall and 12-6 in Big Ten play, the first time since 2015-16 that the Spartans have exceeded the 10-win mark in conference action.

Moira Joiner led Michigan State with 20 points, followed by Julia Ayrault with 19, DeeDee Hagemann with 12 and Theryn Hallock with 11.

🔼 Keep On Winning. No. 15 Michigan State men’s tennis had another successful weekend at a highly-competitive tournament, winning two matches at the Diablo College Tennis Invitational in Tempe, Ariz.

The Spartans took down No. 51 Liberty and No. 23 Arizona State to begin the weekend, before falling to No. 9 Arizona in the championship match on Sunday.

🔼 All-Time Performance. No. 8 Michigan State gymnastics picked up its 13th win of the season over the weekend against New Hampshire, scoring the fourth-most points in program history in a 197.725 - 195.725 win over the Wildcats!

🔼 Battled The Boilers. Michigan State men’s hoops gave No. 2 Purdue everything it could handle at Mackey Arena on Saturday, fighting back from a 15-point deficit early in the second half to pull within one possession, but ultimately fell 80-74.

Tyson Walker scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds, and Jaden Akins tallied 13 points for the Spartans.

🔼 More To Come. Michigan State baseball took down Western Michigan in the opening game of the First Pitch Invitational over the weekend, before falling to Florida State and Illinois to finish 1-2 in Greenville, S.C.
