🔼 Marching On. It’s that time of year — No. 9 seed Michigan State men’s basketball led from start to finish on Thursday in its NCAA First Round matchup against No. 8 seed Mississippi State, winning 69-51 to earn a Second Round matchup against No. 1 seed North Carolina on Saturday.
Tyson Walker led the Spartans with 19 points, and Jaden Akins (15) and Malik Hall (10) joined him in double figures.
🔼 All The Marbles. There isn’t just a Big Ten Championship trophy on the line tomorrow night, bragging rights are also involved — No. 1 seed Michigan State hockey hosts No. 4 seed Michigan in the Big Ten Championship game tomorrow at 8 p.m. on the Big Ten Network!
🏒 PREVIEW: B1G Title Tilt On Top For Saturday
🔼 Hostess With The Mostest. Undefeated in conference action this season, No. 8 Michigan State gymnastics has a chance to win a Big Ten Championships at home this weekend, hosting the event tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. at Jenisen Field House.
🔼 Time To Dance. No. 9 seed Michigan State women’s basketball kicks off the NCAA Tournament today with a 11:30 a.m. matchup with No. 8 seed North Carolina in Columbia, S.C. on ESPN2.
The Spartans head into the tournament playing well, winning five of their last six games and nine of their last 12.
🔼 Day 1 Done. Michigan State wrestling wrapped up Day One of the NCAA Championships on Thursday with wins from 165-pounder Caleb Fish and 184-pounder Layne Malczewski.
The duo will continue wrestling today with the hopes of obtaining All-American status.

🔼 Non-Con Gone. And just like that, Michigan State baseball is into the Big Ten portion of its schedule — the Spartans travel to College Park this weekend for a three-game series against Maryland!
🔼 B1G Opener. Michigan State softball also opens up Big Ten play on the road this weekend, traveling to the northern suburbs of Chicago to take on Northwestern.

🔼 B1G Time. After taking a weekend off, Michigan State men’s tennis is back in action this weekend, welcoming Nebraska and Wisconsin to town to open up the Big Ten slate.
The Spartans women also have a pair of matches this weekend, both on the road — at Rutgers today at noon and at Maryland this Sunday at noon.
🔼 The Encore. Fresh off a win at the Briar’s Creek Invitational last time out, Michigan State women’s golf is in Sunset, S.C. this weekend for the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve on Lake Koewee.
🔼 In The Sunshine. Michigan State track and field heads outside for the first time this spring this weekend, as it heads south to Waco, Texas for the Clyde Hart Classic.
