🔼 Pads Are Popping. Let the excitement begin, Spartan fans — today is the official start of spring practice for Michigan State football!

Head coach Jonathan Smith met with the media yesterday to preview what’s to come this spring for the Spartans.

🔼 A Day Early. Due to cold temperatures in the forecast for Wednesday, Michigan State baseball will host Purdue Fort Wayne today at 4:05 p.m. at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field.

Both the Spartans and Mastadons are coming off series wins last weekend, Michigan State against Evansville and Purdue Fort Wayne against Youngstown State.

🔼 Fighting The Irish. With St. Patrick’s Day in the rearview mirror, Michigan State softball travels to South Bend, Ind. today to take on Notre Dame at 5 p.m.

The Irish are 16-10 on the season, coming off a series win over Georgia Tech in Atlanta over the weekend.

🔼 Down, Not Out. Heading into the seventh inning Friday, Michigan State softball had a 2.25% chance of beating Minnesota.

What happened next was the biggest comeback of the weekend in Division I softball!
