🔼 26 In A Row. The longest streak in the country continues — for the 26th season in a row, Michigan State men’s basketball is in the NCAA Tournament!
The ninth-seeded Spartans are set to take on eighth-seeded Mississippi State in the first round of the West Region on Thursday, March 21 at 12:15 p.m. on CBS in Charlotte, N.C.

🔼 Goin’ Dancin’. In its first season under head coach Robyn Fralick, Michigan State women’s basketball is headed to the NCAA Tournament!
The Spartans earned a No. 9 seed in the Albany Regional 1, and will take on No. 8 seed North Carolina this Friday in Columbia, South Carolina.
🔼 One Step Closer. No. 1 seed Michigan State hockey is now one win away from a Big Ten Tournament championship after taking down No. 7 seed Ohio State, 2-1, in the semifinals on Saturday.
Daniel Russell found the back of the net in the second period to open the scoring for the Spartans, and Nash Nienhaus supplied the game-winner in the third period.
Michigan State will play No. 4 seed Michigan, which beat Minnesota in its semifinal matchup, for the title next weekend.

🔼 Postseason Next. No. 8 Michigan State gymnastics wrapped up its regular season with a win at the Illinois State Tri-Meet over the weekend.
The Spartans were led by Gabrielle Stephen, who won the all-around with a score of 39.500. Michigan State earned at least a share of every event title on Saturday.
🔼 Snowball Fight. A little snow didn’t stop Michigan State baseball from earning a 6-5 win on Sunday against Evansville to claim a series victory over the Purple Aces.
Dillon Kark was 3-for-4 with two runs scored on Sunday, and Ryan McKay was 2-for-4 with three runs driven in.
⚾️ RECAPS: Baseball Takes Two-of-Three From Evansville
🔼 One Up. Michigan State softball finished up its trip to the Garnet & Black Invitational in Columbia, S.C. on Sunday, dropping a nine-inning contest to No. 24 Boston to finish 1-3 on the weekend.
The Spartans’ win came over conference foe Minnesota, 5-4, in the opening game of the weekend. Trailing 4-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, Michigan State rattled off five runs to walk-off the Gophers.
🔼 Non-Con Gone. Michigan State women’s tennis was busy this weekend, playing a pair of Big Ten matches on Friday and Sunday and its last non-conference matchup of the season on Saturday.
The Spartans beat Youngstown State, 4-1, on Saturday, and dropped matches to Penn State and No. 11 Ohio State.
