💚 And much, much more

🔼 Last Call. Michigan State hockey fell to No. 12 Wisconsin in the Worcester Regional final on Saturday night, 4-3, in overtime.
The Spartans held a 3-1 lead late in the third period but a flurry by the Badgers over the final five minutes ended Michigan State's season. MSU was without star senior forward and Hobey Baker Memorial Award finalist Charlie Stramel who departed from the game in the first period with an injury.

🔼 Sweet Finish. No. 3 seed Michigan State men’s basketball’s season came to an end in the Sweet 16 over the weekend, falling to No. 2 seed UConn in Washington, D.C., 67-63.
Trailing by as many as 19 points in the first half and eight at halftime, the Spartans battled back and took a 45-44 lead on a 3-point play by Jaxon Kohler at the 10:06 mark in the second half. Michigan State had four players score in double-figures, led by center Carson Cooper, who had 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds. Forward Coen Carr and Jeremy Fears each scored 13 points, while Kohler had 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

🔼 Momentum Builds! Michigan State men’s tennis continued to roll over the weekend, beating both No. 24 USC and No. 20 UCLA to improve to 8-0 in Big Ten play and earn its third and fourth top-25 wins in the last three weeks!
Sunday’s win over the Bruins was the first victory in the first official match at the Spartan Tennis Outdoor Courts.

🔼 Good Golf! Michigan State women’s golf closed play at the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve on Lake Keowee on Sunday, finishing in sixth place among 16 teams!
The Spartans, who were in 15th place after round one and 13th after two rounds, shot a 6-under par 282 on Sunday, tied for the second-lowest team round of the day and the fifth lowest of the entire tournament to move up seven places.

🔼 Got One. Michigan State baseball won the opening game of its series against Purdue over the weekend, 4-3, before dropping a pair of high-scoring affairs later on.
Nolan Higgins was spectacular in relief in Friday’s Game 1 win, tossing 3.2 innings while allowing just one hit and striking out four, allowing for Ryan McKay to hit a go-ahead home run in the sixth inning.

🔼 B1G Dub. Michigan State women’s tennis secured its second Big Ten win of the season on Sunday, beating Minnesota on the road, 4-2.
The Spartans began the weekend at Wisconsin, falling to the Badgers, 4-2, on Friday.

🔼 No ‘O’. Michigan State softball was swept at Ohio State over the weekend, failing to scratch across a run against the Buckeyes.
Carsyn Cassady struck out a career-high eight hitters in Saturday’s Game 2 loss.
🔼 Championship Foundation! “The Shift,” presented by Pepsi, takes you inside the reigning back-to-back Big Ten Champion Michigan State Hockey program for the 2025-26 season.
When this year's seniors joined the program in 2022, they knew the journey would require trust and working the right way to put MSU Hockey back in the national conversation. Three years later, they’ve taken the program to new heights, becoming three-time Big Ten champions.
