🔼 Nice On Ice. The Big Ten announced its all-conference hockey teams on Tuesday, and four Spartans were honored!

Isaac Howard — B1G Player of the Year, First-Team All-B1G
Trey Augustine — B1G Goaltender of the Year, First-Team All-B1G
Matt Basgall — First-Team All-B1G
Karsen Dorwart — Honorable Mention All-B1G

🔼 Spring Ball Is Here! Michigan State football opened spring practice on Tuesday morning and following practice, head coach Jonathan Smith met with the media to give a preview on what’s to come this spring!

🔼 Home Dub. Michigan State softball jumped out of the gates with three runs in the first inning of its home opener against Oakland on Tuesday and picked up a 7-5 win over the Grizzlies.

Britain Beshears, Collette Allen and Hannah Hawley all homered for the Spartans.

🔼 In-State Matchup. Michigan State baseball plays its second home game of the season today, welcoming in-state foe Oakland to Jeff Ishbia Field at McLane Stadium at 4 p.m.

The Grizzlies are 3-18 so far this season and carry an eight-game losing streak into today’s game.

🔼 Island Golf. Michigan State men’s golf wrapped up play at The Johnnie-O at Sea Island on Tuesday, finishing seventh as a team at 6-over.

Caleb Bond made a 15-spot leap up the leaderboard on the tournament’s final day, shooting a third-round 4-under to finish in a tie for sixth at 2-under.
