Spartan Brew 3/18: From The Desk Of J Batt

J Batt has a message for Michigan State fans!

What else do we have brewing today?

✍️ From the desk of J Batt
⚾️ In enemy territory
💚 And much, much more

🔼 From The Desk Of J Batt. “Spartans,

As Coach Izzo says, March is a special month at Michigan State. It’s the time of year when the madness of postseason captures the hearts and minds of Spartans everywhere.”

🔼 Spring Ball Is Here! First-year Spartan head football coach Pat Fitzgerald conducted his first practice at Michigan State as MSU opened spring ball on Tuesday morning inside the Greg and Dawn Williams Indoor Practice Facility!

🔼 Enemy Territory. Michigan State baseball travels to Ann Arbor today, taking on Michigan at 4 p.m. at Fisher Stadium in a designated non-conference matchup!

Today’s game is a standalone midweek game, with the Spartans heading back to East Lansing this weekend for a three-game series against Iowa.

🔼 On The Podium! Michigan State women’s golf closed competition at the Briar’s Creek Invitational in John’s Creek, S.C., on Tuesday, finishing in third place as a team!

Paula Balanzategui led the Spartans, finishing in sixth place after shooting a 3-under par 141 (70-71). The sixth-place finish marked Balanzategui's second consecutive finish within the top 6 and three of her last four finishes in the top 10.

💚 ONE BIG THING

🔼 Time Well Spent! “The Cut”, presented by Rocket, takes you inside the 17-time Big Ten Champion and reigning conference champion Michigan State men’s basketball team for the 2025–26 season.

As Senior Night approaches, the 2026 class reflects on their time at Michigan State. From practices and preparation to the people who helped them along the way, the seniors prepare for one more game on the Breslin Center floor.
