🔼 Let’s Dance! Michigan State men’s basketball has earned a 28th consecutive bid to the NCAA Tournament, and will be the No. 3 seed in the NCAA East Region!

The Spartans will face No. 14 seed North Dakota State in Buffalo, N.Y., in the first round on Thursday, March 19 at approximately 4:05 p.m. on TNT!

🔼 We’re In! Michigan State women’s basketball has punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament!

The Spartans have earned a No. 5 seed and will play No. 12 seed Colorado State on Friday, March 20 in Norman, Oklahoma!

🔼 NCAAs Next. No. 3 Michigan State hockey fell in its Big Ten Tournament semifinal matchup with Ohio State on Saturday night, 3-2.

The Spartans out-shot OSU, 38-31, and the teams were dead-even on the face-off dot at 38-38. Each side saw success on the power play with Michigan State going 1-for-2, while killing 2-of-3 Buckeye man advantages. Trey Augustine made 28 saves in goal on 31 shots faced for a .903 save percentage.

🔼 Down Goes No. 1! Michigan State men’s tennis made a major statement over the weekend, beating Penn State on the road on Friday afternoon before traveling to Ohio State on Sunday and taking down the top-ranked Buckeyes, 4-3!

The Spartans’ win over Ohio State was the first since 1999, and the first Big Ten home loss for the Buckeyes since 2003.

🔼 Senior Celebration! No. 11 Michigan State gymnastics celebrated Senior Day on Sunday against Brown, winning 197.500-194.750!

Competition was highlighted by Nikki Smith, who scored a perfect 10.000 on floor!

🔼 Knight Time. Michigan State baseball traveled to New Jersey over the weekend for a three-game series at Rutgers, picking up a win in Saturday’s Game 2 of the series with the Scarlet Knights.

The Spartans had a season-high four home runs and 16 hits in Saturday’s 9-3 win.

🔼 B1G Opened. Michigan State softball had the task of traveling to Los Angeles to open Big Ten play at No. 7 UCLA over the weekend, dropping three games to the Bruins at Easton Stadium.

🔼 Home Court. Michigan State women’s tennis split a pair of Big Ten matchups at home over the weekend, beating No. 29 Iowa on Friday, 4-2, before falling to Nebraska on Sunday, 4-3.
