🔼 Coach ‘Em Up. The Big Ten announced its postseason men’s basketball awards on Tuesday, and you already know the regular season champs were well-represented!
Tom Izzo — Big Ten Coach of the Year
Doug Wojcik — Howard Moore Assistant Coach of the Year
Jaden Akins — All-Big Ten Third Team, All-B1G Defensive Team
Jase Richardson — All-Big Ten Third Team, All-B1G Freshman Team
Nick Sanders — Big Ten Sportsmanship Award
🔼 Home Plate. Michigan State baseball plays its first home game and first Big Ten game of the season today, hosting rival Michigan at 4:05 p.m. at McLane Stadium.
The Wolverines are 8-6 this season and opened Big Ten play last weekend, taking two-of-three games from Illinois.
🔼 Midweek Marquee Matchup. With two straight wins over ranked opponents, No. 36 Michigan State men’s tennis gets another test today with No. 10 Arizona in town for a match at 5 p.m.
The Wildcats are 14-1 this season and have won nine dual matches in a row.
