🔼 First Time, Long Time! Michigan State gymnastics scored a 198.050 in a road win over Michigan on Sunday, its highest road score in program history!

The score included a perfect 10.0 from Sage Kellerman on vault!

The win over the Wolverines in Ann Arbor was Michigan State’s first since 1990!

What a day for the Spartans!

🔼 Round 2 Winner. A close game between Michigan State and Maryland men’s basketball got stretched out late thanks to a 14-2 run from the Spartans, who went on to win 63-54 and earn their second win against the Terps this season.

Malik Hall and Tyson Walker both scored 19 points for Michigan State, with 10 of Hall’s points coming in that decisive 14-2 run to clinch the game.

🔼 Bounced Back. After falling 4-1 in its series-opener against Notre Dame over the weekend, Michigan State hockey bounced back in a big way in Game 2, winning 4-0 to earn a series split.

The shutout was the third of the season in Big Ten play for Trey Augustine, who registered 30 saves in the win.

🔼 Spartans vs. Gophers. Monday’s Michigan State women’s basketball game against Minnesota will serve as a celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.

Tonight’s matchup between the Spartans and Gophers is the second of the season, with Minnesota winning the first contest in Minneapolis.

🔼 Hoosier Heartbreak. No. 25/30 Michigan State wrestling jumped out to a hot start to its weekend with a huge 29-10 win over Illinois on Friday and led No. 28 Indiana 18-0 through four matches on Sunday, before the Hoosiers came storming back to win 23-18.

🔼 All They Do Is Win. It was a busy weekend full of wins for No. 19 Michigan State men’s tennis, taking down Ball State and Boise State in a doubleheader on Friday and Middle Tennessee State and Bellarmine in a Sunday doubleheader to move to 8-0 on the season.

The Spartans outscored their opponents by a combined team score of 19-6 on the weekend.

🔼 Got The W. Michigan State women’s tennis took down Dartmouth 6-1 on Sunday to earn its second win of the season.

The Spartans grabbed the doubles point and got singles wins from Matilde Morais, Ayshe Can, Liisa Vehvilainen, Issey Purser and Ria Bhakta.
