🔼 Illini In Town. Michigan State women’s basketball, dominant at the Breslin Center all year long at 12-2, plays one last home game today against Illinois at 8 p.m. on BTN.
This is the only matchup of the season between the Spartans and Illini, who are 7-9 in conference play.
🔼 Only Needed Seven. Michigan State baseball didn’t stick around long in Athens, Ga. on Wednesday, needing only seven innings to down the Georgia Bulldogs, 19-6.
Eight Spartans registered at least two hits in the game, and four drove in at least two runs. Jack Frank had a career day out of the leadoff spot, collecting three hits, two walks, driving in six runs, and scoring twice himself.

🔼 Break It Open. Tied 4-4 headed into the seventh inning on Wednesday, Michigan State softball scored six runs against UNC Wilmington, winning 10-6 to earn its eighth win of the season.
Britain Beshears broke the tie with a solo home run to begin the inning, and Hannah Hawley, Alexis Ross and Macy Lee all added RBI base hits to stretch the lead.
🔼 Hop, Skip, Jump. Michigan State track and field heptathlete Heath Baldwin will represent the Spartans at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Boston next weekend!
🔼 In Court. Michigan State women’s tennis opened its spring break trip on Wednesday, falling 4-2 to South Florida in Tampa.
The Spartans earned the doubles point and a singles victory from Liisa Vehvilainen.
