🔼 Locked Down. Michigan State and Michigan men’s basketball were tied at 63 with seven minutes left on Saturday night, before the Spartans uncorked a 10-0 run to win 73-63. That’s right — the Spartans held the Wolverines scoreless for the final seven minutes!

Tyson Walker scored a team-high 19 points, with Malik Hall right behind him with 18. Coen Carr scored eight points off the bench, including another thunderous dunk.

🔼 Double Digits. It’s been 64 years since Michigan State men’s tennis was this hot to start the season!

With their 4-1 victory at Nashville over the weekend, the No. 16 Spartans are now 10-0 for the first time since 1960.

🔼 How Sweep It Is. Michigan State women’s basketball picked up its second win of the season against Michigan on Sunday, a close 70-66 triumph in Ann Arbor.

Tory Ozment led the Spartans in scoring with 16 points off the bench, with DeeDee Hagemann (14), Julia Ayrault (13) and Theryn Hallock (11) joining her in double figures.

The sweep of the Wolverines is the Spartans’ first since the 2018-19 season.

🔼 Turned It Around. Michigan State softball traveled to Arlington, Texas this past weekend and got right back on schedule, winning four of five games at the Maverick Invitational against DePaul, Kansas City, Boise State and UT Arlington.

🔼 Dominant Display. No. 10 Michigan State gymnastics looked every bit the part of a top-10 team on Sunday, beating No. 25 Maryland 197.550 - 195.525 to earn its eighth win of the season.

The Spartans moved to 5-0 in Big Ten competition, and remain the only unbeaten team in the conference.

🔼 Split A Pair. Michigan State women’s tennis bounced back from a Friday loss to No. 17 USC to beat Xavier on Sunday, 5-2.

The Spartans fell behind 2-0 before getting singles wins from Matilde Morais, Ayshe Can, Liisa Vehvilainen, Ria Bhakta and Natalie Stasny to clinch the win.

🔼 Weekend Getaway. Michigan State baseball spent opening weekend in Charleston, S.C. at the Swig & Swine College Classic, winning its opener against Merrimack before falling to Seton Hall, Lehigh and Ball State to finish the trip 1-3.

🔼 Prepped For The Postseason. Michigan State track & field finished up its regular season at the Silverston Invite and GVSU Tune-Up over the weekend, which means the Big Ten Indoor Championships are next up!

🔼 B1G Finish. Michigan State wrestling wrapped up its regular season Big Ten schedule on Friday night, losing 38-7 to No. 6 Ohio State inside Jenison Field House.

Chase Saldate (157 pounds) and Caleb Fish (165) both earned victories for the Spartans.
