🔼 Top-Five Triumph! No. 10 Michigan State men’s basketball earned a signature win on Saturday inside a raucous Breslin Center, beating No. 5 Illinois in overtime, 85-82!
Jeremy Fears Jr. led the Spartans with 26 points and 15 assists, with Jaxon Kohler also adding a double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds. Jordan Scott and Kur Teng both added 10 points.

No. 2 Michigan State hockey beat No. 1 Michigan on Saturday, 5-2, in front of almost 20,000 fans at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit with goals from Gavin O’Connell, Porter Martone, Tiernan Shoudy, Tommi Mannisto and Charlie Stramel.
🔼 Comeback Complete! No. 12 Michigan State women’s basketball fell behind 28-13 after one quarter at Penn State on Saturday, but came storming back to claim its 20th win of the season, 81-70!
Grace VanSlooten led the way with 20 points and 14 rebounds, her fifth double-double of the season. The Spartans have now reached 20 wins in each of head coach Robyn Fralick’s three seasons.
🔼 Hot Start! Michigan State softball went 4-1 on opening weekend at the NFCA Leadoff Classic in Clearwater, Fla., earning wins over BYU, Longwood, Pitt and No. 13 Clemson!
🔼 Set The Bar High! No. 11 Michigan State gymnastics won on the road for the second consecutive time on Sunday, beating No. 14 Penn State, 197.125-196.725!
The Spartans' 197.150 is their second-highest score of the season and second score over the 197.000 mark in 2026.
🔼 Win Streak! Michigan State women’s tennis improved to 5-0 over the weekend after earning wins over Xavier, Gonzaga and Ball State, the best start to a season since 2018!

🔼 Halted By The Hawkeyes. Michigan State wrestling dropped a Big Ten dual at home to No. 8 Iowa on Sunday, 40-6.
Redshirt junior 197-pounder Kael Wisler was the lone point-scorer for MSU after the Hawkeyes forfeited at his weight class.
