🔼 From Half Court! Tre Holloman played hero for No. 8 Michigan State men’s basketball on Wednesday night, making a heave from beyond half court at the buzzer to beat No. 16 Maryland on the road, 58-55.

Jase Richardson was the only Spartan in double figures with 15 points and a career-high eight rebounds.

With the win, the Spartans hold sole possession of first place in the Big Ten standings once again.

🔼 Buckeye Battle. No. 23/22 Michigan State women’s basketball ran into a hot-shooting Ohio State team in Columbus on Wednesday, falling 89-78 to the No. 12 Buckeyes.

The Spartans had four players in double figures, led by a career-high 29 points from Theryn Hallock. Grace VanSlooten (19), Julia Ayrault (11) and Jaddan Simmons (10) joined Hallock.

🔼 Making Connections. Michigan State sixth-year graduate senior linebacker Sam Edwards has been selected as the Big Ten representative to the NCAA Division I Football Oversight Committee Student-Athlete Connection Group!

A current member of the Michigan State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Edwards will now represent MSU on a national level.
