Michigan State hockey swept Notre Dame over the weekend!

๐ผ High-Powered Hockey. No. 1 Michigan State hockey finished off a sweep of Notre Dame on Friday night, with Porter Martoneโs hat trick leading the way in an 8-2 win over the Fighting Irish at Munn Ice Arena!

๐ผ Sunday Dub. No. 15 Michigan State menโs basketball won again on Sunday, beating Ohio State at the Breslin Center, 66-60, to improve to 22-5 overall and 12-4 in Big Ten play!
Carson Cooper led the Spartans with a career-high 20 points and 11 rebounds, followed by Jordan Scott (12 points) and Jeremy Fears Jr. (11 points) in double figures.

๐ผ Top-25 Triumph. No. 18 Michigan State womenโs basketball picked up a Top 25 road win on Sunday, traveling to Minnesota and beating the No. 23 Gophers, 75-61!
Four Spartans scored in double figures โ Jalyn Brown (20 points), Kennedy Blair (18 points), Amy Terrian (11 points) and Grace VanSlooten (10 points).

๐ผ B1G Dual Dub! No. 11 Michigan State gymnastics earned a win in its final dual competition of the season on Saturday, beating No. 21 Ohio State, 197.300-196.850!
The Spartans' 197.300 is their second-highest score of the season and fourth score over the 197.000 mark in as many weeks.

๐ผ Bayou Battle. Michigan State softball traveled to Baton Rouge, La., over the weekend for the Purple and Gold Challenge, earning a pair of wins against Howard while dropping two games to host LSU and one to Louisiana Lafayette.
Alex Starr made sure the Spartans left Louisiana on Sunday with a win, tossing a complete-game shutout against the Bison.

๐ผ Win Column. Michigan State menโs tennis earned its first win of spring on Sunday, sweeping Western Michigan in Kalamazoo, 7-0!
The Green & White hits the road again next week, heading west for the Diablos Invite in Tempe, Arizona. Competition will be held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 27-28.

๐ผ Split Up. Michigan State womenโs tennis played a pair of matches over the weekend at the MSU Indoor Tennis Center, beating Toledo on Friday, 4-3, before falling to Dartmouth on Sunday, 4-2.

๐ผ Texas Takedown. Playing its second straight series against a top-10 opponent to open the season, Michigan State baseball traveled to Texas to take on the No. 3 Longhorns over the weekend, losing all three games in Austin.

๐ผ Fast Finish! Michigan State track and field closed out the regular season portion of its indoor schedule over the weekend, winning five events across two meets in Ann Arbor and South Bend, Indiana.

๐ผ Regular Season In The Rearview. Michigan State wrestling closed out the regular season with a home dual against Central Michigan on Friday night, falling to the Chippewas, 19-15.
With both teams winning five matches, the difference in the dual came down to a pin by Central Michigan at 165 pounds in overtime.
